A stone’s throw from the Latin Quarter, near the Lyon and Austerlitz
stations, the Grand Hôtel des Gobelins enjoys pleasant surroundings in a
lively neighbourhood.
Optional Champagne Tasting Cruise can be arranged depending on arrival

With the wine cellars located 5 minutes from Le Louvre, we always recommend a morning / afternoon in the gallery before the wine tasting
17.00hrs - Wine tasting in an exceptional venue which used to be the King
Louis XV sommelier’s cellar! Scenic and authentic. This venue has a lot of
personality and the decor has been recently restored to a high standard of
comfort. Very close to the Louvre, this historical site is the perfect
setting for a sensual journey into France’s treasures!
Whether you are a wine novice or a real connoisseur, this tasting is
intended for you. You will taste a wonderful variety of French wines: from
Champagne to Bordeaux, from Burgundy to the Rhone Valley... With a unique and refreshing approach, our French sommelier will teach you how to read a French label and how to navigate a wine list. You will also learn about wine techniques for appreciation and strategies for pairing food and wine. We'll go through the specificities of each one of the major French wine regions and the interesting anecdotes and details that make French wines unique. Great educational and fun tasting. |

We propose a visit to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. We will be
happy to make suggestions for boat cruises on the Seine
Enjoy a bottle of wine and lunch in one of the many Brasseries that line the
streets or perhaps a Picnic by the River Seine opposite Notre Dame de Paris might bemore appealing (not included)
